What 's Coffee Olympics ?

什么是咖啡奥运?

A brand new contest “Coffee Olympics” will be held in 5th to 7th December 2013 in conjunction
with Hong Kong International Bakery Expo, at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.  These
contests start with the major premise of sharing the expertise and knowledge among coffee experts
in different sectors of coffee industry among Hong Kong, Macau and China.  Panels of international
and local industrial experts with comprehensive judging experiences evaluate the competitors’
techniques and the sensory of their coffee.  Through comprehensive contests, the ultimate goal is to
elevate the standard of Hong Kong coffee industry and promote specialty coffee culture to general
public.   The contests are being hosted by Coffee Pro and Colour Brown Coffee.

 


全新系列的咖啡竞赛『咖啡奥运』将于20131257日香港会议展览中心"香港国际烘焙展”内举行。藉由多
元化的竞赛,让来自中港澳各地的咖啡业界人士分享经验、技术交流。评判团由国际及香港具丰富评审经验的
业内人士担任,以技术及感官作主要评审准则。此咖啡竞赛以提升香港咖啡文化及推广精品咖啡为大前题由
Coffee Pro 及 Colour Brown Coffee 举办。

6/12 (五 Fri)    11:00 – 15:30         Roasting session for No. 11-20  1120号参赛者各有30分钟烘豆时间

7/12 (六 Sat)   11:00 – 13:00        Blinded taste test by Judges 评审盲测

15:00 – 15:30        Awards Presentation 颁奖礼

About Coffee Pro 主办方信息

Coffee Pro is the only certified coffee training lab in Hong Kong authorized by SCAA (Specialty
Coffee Association of America) and SCAE (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe), provide a full
range of coffee courses from basic skills to professional training including internationally-recognized
SCAA & SCAE certifications in selection of coffee beans, roasting, grinding, brewing and cupping. 
 All training courses are led by lead SCAA and SCAE certified instructors and certifiers.



Coffee Pro 是香港唯一获得美国精品咖啡协会(SCAA)及欧洲精品咖啡协会(SCAE)的专业培训和认证中心,从拣
选咖啡豆、烘焙、研磨、冲调、杯测等各方面均提供专业证书课程。所有授课导师分别考获不同次咖啡课程训

About Colour Brown Coffee

A bustling coffee shop located in Sai Kung since 2005, our “Rare & Interesting” selection of specialty
coffees offer our customers an affordable luxury that can be enjoyed every day.   A retail outlet adjacent
to coffee shop serves 40 plus coffee beans plus small-batch freshly roasted by our award-winning roaster
with artisanal skill.  As an event manager of 2011-2013 Hong Kong Barista / Siphonist Championship, it’s
a terrific way for Colour Brown Coffee to support the coffee community, sharpen the team’s sensory
and technical expertise.
